Ridgestock 2023
How fun to be back at Ridgestock! Our roots here run deep, we did shows here back in the early 2000s. Fresh off our tour of Oregon Country Fair, forty outfits were presented for our very receptive audience! We even had some new and very young trash designers presenting their designs!
First Friday Art Walk ~ Nevada City
We were so happy to perform for the last First Friday Art Walk of the summer. Catching up on the latest fashion trends has never been easier! Our models strutted their stuff on the crosswalk of Commercial Street — it made a perfect runway! Thanks to Nevada City Chamber of Commerce for including us in their fabulous event!
Oregon Country Fair!
It was such a thrill to be back at Oregon Country Fair! Our last appearance there had been in 2019, where we presented a show to honor the 50th Anniversary of OCF. We were back in full force, with our second generation of Haute Trash designers really stepping up to the plate! We presented daily shows at Stage Left and at the StewardShip Stage in Xavanadu Meadow. We featured all-new, epic trash-wear from the fringes of society. Haute Trash reminds you that today is the very best day to take that step towards being the change you want to see in the world. There is no more powerful moment than right now. We hope to inspire you to be aware of your consumption and waste and to become stewards of the natural world around you.

Haute Trash’s New Earth Revue
We made quite an Earth Day commotion at the Wild Eye Pub, with our first show in over TWO years! Our “NEW EARTH REVIEW” was met with wild enthusiasm, with a sell out crowd! We featured over 60 designs from a dozen trashy designers. Master of Ceremonies Cosmo Merryweather guided us through a thought-provoking look into what’s new in the world of recycled fashion. Haute Trash maintains its lifetime guarantee that YOU WILL NEVER LOOK AT YOUR TRASH THE SAME AGAIN.

Trash is the New Black – A Fall Fashion Fest
October 23, 2019
Haute Trash returned to the Wild Eye Pub with an all-new line up of fantastic trash fashions! Trash is the New Black, or hadn’t you heard? We’re keeping up with latest in recycled trends! Our emcees, Mikail Graham and Kenny Miele were our hosts, as we explored what can be done with discarded items that just can’t seem to make their way to the landfill. A grand time was had on Wild Eye’s Recycle Runway!
Haute Trash is a social fashion commentary satire, examining the wastefulness of American culture, and stressing the potential for transforming the way we use resources in our lives.

Ridgestock Music & Sustainability Festival
August 16 & 17, 2019
Haute Trash was super excited to return to the Ridgestock Festival, after fifteen years. It was fun to help them celebrate 20 years of putting on this epic event on the San Juan Ridge! This was the last hurrah for the event, so how appropriate that Haute Trash was there to present the latest in recycled fashions!
We presented a “teaser” show on Friday evening, featuring our local youth and teens, and some of our all-star models. The sultry Daria Kent served as our MC. And then a full length show was presented Saturday night, hosted by local celeb, Mikail Graham. What a fantastic and receptive crowd! We rallied 25 of our best models and featured 36 designs, which were a retrospective of the last 20 years of trash fashion design. We really felt at home, as Haute Trash has its roots DEEP in the San Juan Ridge! What a great show. We wish the best in her new endeavors to Ridgestock producer, Roo Cantada.

Recycled Materials Runway Event

Oregon Country Fair
July 12 – 14, 2019
Haute Trash couldn’t have been any more thrilled about returning to the Oregon Country Fair for their 50th Anniversary! We presented six shows that were made from 100% OCF TRASH. Yes, that’s right, an entire fashion show created from YOUR trash left behind at Oregon Country Fair. Our agents spent countless hours gathering up cool trash at last year’s fair. They visited vendors, worked with the recycling crew, and yes, dug through dumpsters after the fair was deserted. All this trash was cleaned and packaged and distributed to our designers, who turned it into this summer’s runway sensations! We performed at Stage Left, the Stewardship Stage in Xavanadu Meadow, and a surprise appearance at Chez Ray’s Gritz La Ritz on Friday night! Big Fun was had by all!
